Girl Coders Zambia –
Empowering Women in Data (2024)

GIRL CODERS ZAMBIA

The Empowering Women in Data initiative by Girl Coders Zambia is one of our most recent campaigns, focusing on equipping young women with data science skills to excel in the tech industry. From data analysis and visualization to machine learning and storytelling with data, this program is building a new generation of women leaders in tech. This initiative is already inspiring change and sparking interest in STEM fields among women in Zambia.

This six-month program aims to empower women in data science using the DataCamp platform. The program’s target is to recruit and engage 100 participants, equipping them with certifications and skills to thrive in data-related careers. The initiative focused on bridging the gender gap in data literacy and analytics by providing accessible training, mentorship, and networking opportunities for women.

Girl Coders Zambia (GCZ) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women in the tech industry.
